ATTENTION!! Feedback Wanted

The huge blast of Survival Horror game releases is now over...
In 2008/2009 we've had new Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Condemned and Forbidden Siren games. We saw the release of a new classic, Dead Space and the disappointment that was Alone in the Dark.
Now we have hardly anything to look forward to except from Alan Wake and Project Zero IV but no dates have been given for either of them.

Because we have a gap in game releases now, I would like to take this chance to ask readers of this blog for feedback and ideas for improvement.

I would like to know:

1) What franchises are people most interested in?
2) Can you recommend me any games to play?
3) Anything I am doing that you can do without?
4) What could I do to make you visit more often?
5) Have you ever recommended the blog to a friend?

I have some ideas for future topics, how do you feel about them?:

1) Character Profiles
2) Debate topics E.g. Horrors of Next-Gen Vs Horrors of Old-Gen.
3) Series comparisons E.g. Best Silent Hill, Project Zero etc...

I am grateful for all feedback given.

Thanks in advance...

1. silent hill 1-3. haven't played 4. 'origins' was okay. waiting for the remake on PS2.

resident evil 1-3. everything after that isn't... survival horror.

fatal frame 1-3. enough said. haven't played the 4th, for obvious reasons.

rule of rose, even though the combat system isn't perfect. if you can look beyond that, it's a very unique experience.

parasite eve is worth mention. i'm just now starting PE2, so i can't really comment on it. there's also a new parasite eve game in the works for PSP.

siren (PS2) is in a world of its own. very challenging would be an understatement. yet, the voice acting was terrible. worst ever in a survival horror game.

i recently picked up martian gothic, so i can't comment on it.

2. see #1?

3. keep doing what you're doing. it's hard to base your blog on a genre that isn't very popular. by that i mean there isn't very much to talk about; games are few and far between. the more content the better, at this point in time.

4. i guess you could try to include movie reviews pertaining to the horror genre. something to kill time between game releases. or maybe that's not a good idea. i can't really say at this point. how about video reviews? recorded game play featuring your narration? mini podcast?

5. i have not recommended the blog to a friend. i just found it myself.

i like all 3 of your ideas for future topics. i'll keep an eye open for them.

I was thinking about doing horror films but I'm no movie critic and most of the horror films I like aren't to everyones taste.

yeah, the movie idea was me struggling to find a suggestion; the others too. i was thinking, mainly movies based on games in the survival horror genre (silent hill, siren, resident evil, fatal frame, dead space [manga])...
